MEETINGS WITH INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS

The Tofaş Corporate Investor Relations Department conducted a total of four analyst meetings. One of these, which took place at its headquarters, was attended by members of senior management and consisted of a presentation of all the year’s quarterly results announced as of that date. This meeting was also webcast while the other three meetings were webcast only.

In addition to these four analyst meetings, 311 other meetings consisting of company visits, teleconferences, investor conferences held in Turkey and abroad, and international roadshows were attended, with the participation of 220 institutional investors and 91 financial analysts last year.

Tofaş took part in five international investor conferences and two investor conferences in Turkey during the year while 49 teleconferences were conducted with analysts and investors.

SHARE PERFORMANCE

The average value of Tofaş stock in 2018 was down by 14.1% from its 2017 level. This means that it underperformed the BIST 100 index, which gained an average of 3.1% during the same period.

Tofaş’s management proposes to pay out a 2018 dividend totaling TL 880 million in value. This figure corresponds to a 66% dividend based on its 2018 profit.

DEVELOPMENTS IN INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS’ OWNERSHIP OF PUBLICLY-TRADED TOFAŞ SHARES 

As of end-2018, 81% of Tofaş’s shares were held by international investors. Last year of BIST-traded shares held by such investors was 65%.
