EGEA SEDAN TOPS THE CHARTS ONCE AGAIN

At the latest round of the Gladiator Awards handed out by the Turkish Automotive Distributors Association based on 2018 market results, the success of Fiat Egea Sedan once again was acknowledged when the automobile was hailed as “Best Selling Automobile in Turkey” with 34 thousand vehicles sold. This was the third year in a row that Fiat Egea Sedan topped the charts as Turkey’s most popular automobile.

Tofaş’s recently renovated tofas.com.tr website placed first in the Automotive category in the 16th round of Altın Örümcek (Golden Spider) Web Awards.

The Fiat brand picked up a Golden Effie in the 2018 Effie Türkiye awards for its “İçerdesin” (a TV series) campaign in the “Media Recreators” category.

TOFAŞ QUALITY INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED

At the 2018 International Quality Awards attended by participants from eleven countries around the world, the Tofaş Quality Team made it to the finals in the “Innovation in quality methods” category. This provided the team with opportunities to demonstrate to an international audience the successful results achieved in quality methods through Tofaş’s Integrated Quality Management Platform.

At the Brandon Hall Excellence Awards, regarded as the Academy Awards of the business world, Tofaş Human Resources picked up eight separate honors.

SEVEN HR AWARDS FROM STEVIE

In the 2018 round of Stevie Awards for Great Employers handed out by Stevie, one of the world’s premier business award organizations, Tofaş’s Human Resources unit received recognitions for seven different practices.

FIAT WAS AWARDED IN MOBILE MARKETING

Fiat brand was also honored at the MIXX Awards Europe ceremony organized by IAB Europe. Fiat’s “İçerdesin” TV series campaign, which brings a new dimension to TV content consumption by making effective use of technology in the secondary screen experience, won not only the Grand Prize but also four Gold awards in the “Branded Content”, “Integrated Advertising”, “Video Advertising”, and “Responsive Display Advertising” categories.

TOFAŞ LCA TEAM TAKES FIRST PLACE IN LOGISTICS AWARDS

The LCA (Low-Cost Automation) team of the Tofaş Supplier Chain Directorate’s Materials & Logistics Engineering Department placed first in the “Packaging & Materials Handling Innovation” category of the European Automotive Logistics Awards with the “Roof Coating Low Cost Automation” project that it carried out in 2018.
